My goal is to build meaningful relationships with my patients based on respect and the delivery of exceptional dentistry. I consider myself an educator, healthcare practitioner, artist, consultant, and problem solver. I am passionate about showing patients the possibilities that contemporary dentistry has to offer them, and assisting them in surpassing their goals and visions for their smile and oral health.
I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to train and learn with some of the finest restorative dentists and TMD doctors in the world. My core beliefs require that I do everything necessary to provide the most optimal, prudent, and individualized treatment for my patients who trust my care, skill, and judgment as their primary oral healthcare provider. Feel free to visit my blog and my reviews of dental literature for more information regarding my treatment philosophies. You will also find numerous photographs of my dentistry on our website which I hope you find interesting and exciting. I have become passionate about macro photography, and all the photographs that appear on our website were taken by me with a Nikon D7100.
My practice is built around a continual environment of learning. My formal undergraduate studies were completed at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, while obtaining my Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree at the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland.
Since that time, my immersion in advanced continuing education courses are too numerous to list here, but the most notable courses will be documented below. My continuing education interests are predominantly focused in the areas of restorative dentistry, adhesive dentistry, orofacial pain and temporomandibular joint disorders, splint therapy, and advanced dental sleep medicine. I am always available to discuss my philosophies and modalities of treatment with anyone who may be more interested.
In my personal life, I enjoy CrossFitting (http://www.crossfit.com), Cleveland professional sports, Michigan collegiate athletics, photography, reading (non-fiction), music, and spending time with my wife, Laura, and dog, Dylan.
